            History

            How Stone Harbor was built

Euclid Street and what is now La Habra Boulevard made the town's first crossroads. Zachary T. Coy opened a store on that corner and ran the post office out of it, which is how the settlement W. J. Cole founded in 1896 got itself onto a map. The corner had already been a trading point on the old road between the missions.

Stone Harbor sits south of there on South Euclid Street, 78 units across 3.9 acres arranged around a single loop called Stone Harbor Circle, and laid out in July 1983.
