How Oakview @ Westridge was built
Two streets, Endless Vista and Sunswept Mesa, which tells you most of what you need to know about where this sits. Westridge is the high western shoulder of Aliso Viejo, the part closest to the canyon system that runs down to Laguna Beach. One hundred and fifteen homes on 22.4 acres.
The homes here went up in 2000 and 2001, among the last in Aliso Viejo to be finished before the city incorporated on 1 July 2001. It sits against that canyon system, the Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park, 4,500 acres opened on 31 March 1990, 3,400 of them given to Orange County by the Mission Viejo Company in 1979, where the old growth oak and sycamore groves were recognized by the Old-Growth Forest Network in 2021.
