How Sevilla Townhomes was built
Sevilla's streets are a tour of Spain in alphabetical order: Alcorisa, Alicante, Almeria, Andorra, Antequera, Barcelona, Belmonte, Benavente, Cordoba, La Mancha, Madris, Montella, Palma. The homes went up between 1989 and the end of the 1990s, in the middle of the Tustin Ranch build out and a short distance from the golf club.
Spanish naming was the house style across Tustin Ranch, and it was not entirely arbitrary. The land here was Irvine Ranch citrus ground until the 1980s, and the Irvine Ranch itself was assembled in 1864 when James Irvine and his partners combined three adjoining Mexican land grants into a holding of about 185 square miles.
