How Las Flores III was built
The three Las Flores phases each took a different theme for their streets, and the third took the shape of the land itself. Via Prado is the meadow, Via Cresta the ridge, Via Meseta the tableland and Via Terrano the ground underfoot. The first phase was named for flowers and the second for birds, so read in order the village works down from what grows on the land, to what flies over it, to the land.
Las Flores began in 1986, among the earliest housing in the new city, and this third phase went up in 1989 with 173 homes on 8.7 acres. That density is why four street names cover the whole of it.
