How Sorrento Hills was built
The houses came very late by Fullerton standards. The whole neighborhood went up in a single year, 1987, and all 108 homes carry that date with no spread at all, which is why the architecture is so consistent from one end to the other. You come in off Brea Boulevard by way of Panorama Drive and onto Lexington Drive, the spine the rest of the streets hang off. The association keeps a private park and a sport court for residents.
The street names are worth a second look. In a city full of Spanish place names and pioneer surnames, this pocket is entirely English: Lexington, Nottingham, Elmhurst, Lennox and Morningside. It is a small piece of 1980s marketing that still shapes how the neighborhood reads from the car.
